An authentic vintage Carrara plinth is not easy to find. This small yet useful display has a variation of uses that can continuously be repurposed. The hand carved beveled edge is an added touch of craftsmanship that is not often seen in modern design.
In the veining we have a blend of greys and whites that layer seamlessly among one another. With its fresh polished finish, we can see the natural sparkle in the stone that reflects so beautifully against the light. Bringing a piece of a natural textile is our favourite way to add visual texture to all interiors.
Condition: One corner patched. Some natural darkening of the veining underneath the stone. This is not an imperfection but something to note. Professionally restored, refinished to a polished finish & sealed.
Note: Carrara is naturally a porous and delicate stone. Our vintage pieces undergo an in-depth refinishing process to ensure we bring it back to the best condition possible. Although, this may not mean they are perfect due the authentic vintage age of 40-50 years.
