Using a rich light vein Travertine, this 1980s dining table has exquisite detailing from top to bottom. The double beveled edge is a feature worth noting. We don’t see this detail often, especially with modern designs. Its purpose is to compliment the narrow silhouette, while simultaneously creating shadows to distinguish its unique edge.
We restored and refinished this entire table by stripping its original acrylic coating and bringing it down to a honed finish. We wanted to showcase the natural raw texture of Travertine. Its smooth to the touch and beautiful to the eye in person. We locked in it with a Impregnator sealer to protect this intricate table. It can seat up to 8 people, but suitable with 4-6 as well.
Condition: Great condition. No damages. Refinished professionally to a matte / honed finish.
Note: Travertine stone is naturally porous which is apart of its beautiful character. We use a specially ordered Impregnator sealer to protect this variation of stone.
