The honed Carrara surface is a rare finish in vintage constructions. We decided to modernize the pieces while keeping its original charm. The finish is not only easier to maintain, but keeps a room elegant and classic. The luscious stark veining shows the true beauty of what Carrara Marble is.
Both table tops are finished with a signature vintage detail of a 1” bevel. The small details are those that are not common in modern designs. Its craftsmanship not only is structurally strong, but maintains a homey atmosphere.
If you decide to have both tables, the configuration of this nesting set does not only need to be side by side as shown, but can be placed in a diagonal whether closer or farther apart. The colour is an easy match, keeping a neutral cool tone that can be complimented in your decor. If you’re looking to change things up, you can also use them as side tables in the future.
CONDITION — Some aged discolouration we could not remove under the taller table (Table 2). Only noticeable if looking for a floor angle. No cracks or damages.
This table is professionally restored, refinished & sealed to a honed finish. Refinishing includes the entire piece, not just the surface. All refinishing is completed in house to ensure top grade quality and consistency.
NOTE — Travertine is a naturally porous soft stone. Our vintage pieces undergo an in-depth refinishing process to ensure we bring it back to the best condition possible. Although, this may mean they are not perfect due the authentic vintage age of 40-50 years.
